Latest reviews from TripAdvisoR"Well, this is a first for an Irish pub, Irish bar that actually charges the same price for the local beer as other bars and restaurants. So sick and tired of the Irish theme where the beer is off and charged extra, the surroundings are dark and dirty. Not Jack Doyle's where the area is bright and open, the staff were helpful and the food was fantastic. Didn't have to get off my seat to order food or drink as the staff were always there to meet your needs. A total pleasure to be there and highly recommend. This is what an Irish bar-restaurant should be".
"There are lots of Irish pubs all over the world, and I have been in many. Jack Doyle's however is the most authentic and genuine Irish pub outside of Ireland I have drank in! There is none of the associated cheesiness I have come to associate with Irish pubs abroad. Good selection of drinks, both local (and English). Staff always friendly and all speak English along with Hungarian. Decor tastefully done, cool selection of quotes on walls, as well as Munster rugby jersey and a few other bits and bobs. Food always top notch, even if can be a bit pricy. Good place to get Irish and British sports too, including GAA, English language books available in a book swap, and chess boards and pieces available too. All round excellent pub.
"Found this place by chance. I don't usually go for an "Irish bar" but boy am I glad I did. Guinness is good, food is excellent, recommend the bangers & mash, and the craic was plentiful.
The staff are helpful & friendly and will do anything they can to make sure you have a good time".
"Great spot for some food and a couple of drinks. Very reasonably priced all round and they were very helpful reserving us a table to watch Premier League football."
